Geoff and I were school friends in Tunbridge Wells, Kent - we met there in 1963. He was a fantastic sportsman - school 1st XV rugby, 1st XI hockey, first XI cricket - but, more importantly, he was a fantastic sport. Always very fair, always modest, always willing to help out and, where needed, give advice. His many friends back in Kent are shocked and saddened to hear of his passing. Everybody liked Geoff - he was a true gentleman. RIP, Geoff.
